I love to contour my cheeks, and when I heard rave reviews for the Sleek Face Form Kit, I knew I had to try it. I live in the U.S. so I cannot get Sleek in-stores which left me to order it on their site. I managed to find a coupon for free shipping so I was more than happy to wait a few days to receive mine in the mail.
First off, the price was outstanding. $12.49 for a contour shade, highlighter, and blush is a steal, and I would have gladly paid more for the quality and pigmentation.
The palette comes in four different shades: fair, light, medium, and dark. The fact that they formulated four different contour shades, highlighters and blushes is brilliant and makes it accessible for all skin tones. The contour shade is absolutely lovely, and sculpts my face just as well as my higher-end products. It is completely matte, and does not come off at all orangey (is that even a word? lol) on my skin. I have the shade light and it fits me like a dream.
The highlight shade is very pigmented and gives a beautiful champagne glow to the tops of the cheekbones. The shimmers are not at all chunky and it gives a very natural effect. I blend this lightly into my brow bone and it is not at all overdone like I fear with many other powder highlighters.
The blush shade is probably my least favorite of the palette but nonetheless a great shade. I am still getting used to wearing shimmery blushes, I have been a matte blush girl for a while. It's a peachy pink color with color shimmers (NARS Orgasm anyone?) and it looks very nice on the apples of the cheeks.
All in all I would say this is a must have for anyone looking to define their cheeks and really stand out. The price and payoff justify the extra space in my collection being used and that is really all I ask for in any product I purchase. :) Let me know what you think in the comments! xoxoxoxo

My Favorite Blush!
So, I am always in the hunt for a good blush. In fact, I think that blush might be my favorite makeup product of all time because for me, it is just simply one of those "feel good" products. One of the main things I look for in a blush is stay power, and these Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes have some of the best stay power I have ever seen. They go on like a dream and give a beautiful glow to the cheeks. My current favorite is in the shade "amused". It is a perfect summer color, adding a bright pop of pink to my look. If you are looking for a softer shade of pink, I suggest "blissful", and if you are a bit more daring and want a bright coral to suit your summer look, go for "Tipsy". If you go on Tarte's website, you can read all about the specifics with the formulation but all I know is that they are the ideal blush for me. They retail for 25$ and are worth every penny. I have been using mine since discovering them in January and still have not come close to hitting pan!
Let me know below what you think about these blushes and which is your favorite! xoxo

Are the Naked Palettes REALLY worth it?
For the longest time, I had put off the purchase of the Naked Palette because I just did not see the hype surrounding a palette of neutral colors. With a hefty price tag of 50$, I was skeptical of not only the quality, but if I would actually get much use out of it. After purchasing the Naked 2, let me tell you, I am DEFINITELY on the band wagon.
If there were any way for me to justify paying 50$ for a palette, it would be by simply saying the quality of these eye shadows are beyond anything I've ever used before. The application and blending are a dream and the colors are so unique even for neutrals. Personally, I prefer the Naked 2 over the original because they just suit my eye color better, but either one is a brilliant purchase in my book.
If you enjoy a good neutral eye as much as I do, then these shadows are a must. Above are the swatches from the original palette. The colors are all very warm toned and will add definition to any eye color. The pigmentation is phenomenal and the highlight colors are to die for.
At first glance, the swatches of the Naked 2 Palette might look very similar to the original but in reality, they share plenty of differences. The Naked 2 is much more cool toned, and has an amazing black. Although it has more highlight shades then the original, I still prefer the color "virgin" to "bootycall" as a brow bone highlight.
All in all, these are beautiful palettes and will always have a place on my makeup counter. What do you guys think about the Naked Palettes, overrated or buzz-worthy?
